Project Overview
Are you a hands-on tester with a passion for test automation? Do you enjoy keeping up to date with the latest tools and trends in technology? If so, then we have a great opportunity for someone like you to join as a QA Automation Consultant with TOSCA.
The Test Engineer is part of the Sprint Team and controls and supports all processes related to the Quality Assurance and Test.
What you can expect & what we want you to do
- Responsible for the design, automation and maintenance of test cases
- Test from the perspective of an end-user, testing in various conditions and settings for different devices
- Review existing QA processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements
- Align and collaborate with the rest of the quality assurance team to improve the overall quality of our products
- Work with designers, POs, and developers to improve the overall experience by suggesting improvements
- Improve the testability of requirements by supporting to write testable requirements and to define acceptance criteria
- Coordinates, supports or executes functional Integration Test and E2E Test
- Designs functional Integration and E2E test cases
- Debugs failed automated tests, documents defects, analyse root cause, coordinates, supports or executes NFR tests, designs NFR tests
- Estimates test effort (only Sprint in Agile Development)
- Tracks traceability from requirement to delivered software
- Coordinates and supports Test Data Management
- Creates and maintains synthetical test data
- Creates and maintains test mockup tools
- Tests test-readiness of test environments (Smoke test)
- Supports Implementation Team / Scrum Team by following quality processes and standards
- Checks compliance of artefacts
- Tricentis TOSCA
What you are good at & what you’ll need to win
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
- At least 1/2 years previous experience with TOSCA
- Certified in a modern testing and/or test automation solution
- Proficient in designing complex test data models
- Understanding complex business scenarios
- Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence
- Proficient/fluent in written and oral English & German communication
- Keen on working remotely in an international work environment with colleagues from all over the world
